As you know, I was traveling back to Wasilla, Alaska. It was a 10 hour ride on the train from Fairbanks, but I eventually made it! Actually, the 10 hours went faster than one would imagine--and I got to eat some chili while on board. No, I have not yet gotten that moose chili I've been hoping for. But this must be the next best thing: I had buffalo chili. Yummy!
Tracey was one person who was there to greet me when I got off the train. For those who don't know Tracey, you soon will. At least that's my opinion: She is an up-and-coming photographer. I mean, she always has her camera. I thought I was always camera laden. No, Tracey is the real Camera Woman! As I stepped down off the train, she was snapping pictures! I bet I won't even get that kind of reception when I return to New York after being away for a month! I come back to Wasilla after being gone for six days, and I get treated like royalty! You see why I like it here? By the way, for those who bought into negative ideas by the mainstream media in their attempts to paint a bad picture of Sarah Palin's hometown, now you get the truth--from me. This is an example of the types of people who reside in Wasilla, Alaska. Tracey is just one of many kind, welcoming, warm-hearted people. The Governor got it honest.
You must visit Tracey's blog. It's at http://findingmyselfinalaska.blogspot.com/. You'll enjoy following it. Below you will see a few pictures of my return to Wasilla that she has on her website, but you'll see more pictures she took if you go directly to that post called "Adrienne Comes Home" by clicking here. Once you click, if you look in the window you'll see that Tracey wasn't the only one who greeted me at the train station! Check it out!
By the way, do I look happy or what in that last picture?!
