Woman at the Mercy of Obama's Death Panel

Monday, August 10, 2009

Watch the short video clip below, and tell me it doesn't hit you hard. Tell me your heart doesn't just break as you watch this concerned woman before a mere man--President Obama--to ask if he would find it in his heart to allow her mom medical care even at her late age. His response was that some people may be better off if they just take a pill! There is something completely sick about this. The words "God, bless America" are taking on a whole new meaning for us. It's no longer just a little phrase we utter out of habit. Now it's becoming the prayer it always should have been, rising up from the depths of our collective souls. God, please bless America.

America, we cannot give up our freedoms and rights in exchange for a date to sit imploringly before someone who holds our lives and the lives of our loved ones in his hands. Look, I don't care if you're a Democrat, a Republican, an Independent, or absolutely nothing, you deserve better. Who is Obama that this woman should have to ask him if he would consider her mother's joy and spirit in his decision as to whether she can be given health care? Is he God?! The government has no right to make these kinds of decisions. America, you have got to keep standing up and speaking out. Congress, you have got to read the health care bill. We all need to read it. Otherwise, this is the just the beginning of a seriously diabolical time in our history. Some were outraged when Sarah Palin had the courage to call the proposed "death panel" by its true name: "evil." But you look at the video and tell me you don't agree.

YES! I was horrified by this video when I saw it yesterday... "take a pill". I was watching with my boyfriend - he couldn't believe it either.

I saw the comments on facebook about Sarah Palin who posted this. They were brutal, saying she seeing things in the video that weren't there and trying to stir the pot. It was pretty clear to me... and chilling at that.

Frightening. Very frightening.

It is a scary time in America.I read the bill too and found it so open for all kinds of deceit and Gov. control. We will continue to voice our opposition and pray that the sleeping Church will arise with a shout and the Sword of the Lord! God please, Bless America.

It doesn't surprise me that this evil man would think that caring for the elderly and spending money for their care is a waste. These people that contributed to America all their lives are now being tossed to the side of the road as garbage.
America is rising and Sarah Palin is leading the way.
God bless Sarah, Todd and their precious family in the name of Jesus.
Blessings, Irma

Hi Adrienne, i love your postings and your effort to support Sarah palin, just curios do you see god's hand in "the ones" NH townhall today, minutes after he was wrongly mocking palin he put out for the whole country on TV the biggest argument against govt. run HC "its like the USPS"

Adrienne August 12, 2009 at 12:24 AM

I know what you mean. "It's like the USPS"--which, of course, IS the government!

And I KNEW Obama wouldn't be able to resist quoting Sarah. She is SO on his brain. She has gotten into his mind so deeply--and that's exactly where she should be. Then he misrepresented what she said, as O'Reilly pointed out tonight on his show. Sarah never mentioned "euthanasia" or "pulling the plug on Grandma." She mentioned a "death panel," which IS a fitting phrase for this HC bill. He directed attention away from the truth of her statement by misrepresenting it. He is clever, isn't he? But we're on to the game.

Never underestimated the power of ignorance, fear and hate. The sontributors to this site demonstrate their timeless power.

you're missing the point. the man said: we won't solve all of this, every difficult question, right here. and went on to name possibilities-he did NOT say to any particular person "take a pill". he was speaking hypothetically.
the fact is that he CAN'T answer questions like the one asked, because those questions are always settled on a case by case basis by the patient, the doctor, and the health insurance company. there is no bill on earth that can cover every eventuality-but i personally think a bill that encourages people to think ahead is a good thing. of course, now that useful, compassionate provision won't be in the bill because sarah palin had a tantrum on facebook.
and of course obama is aware of sarah palin. she has a knack for wrapping huge lies in just enough truth to do the most damage, which makes her dangerous-and thus worth keeping track of. what it does NOT do is make her worthy of holding high office-in fact it is one of the factors that in my opinion disqualifies her.
