Going Rogue Tops NY Times Best Seller List for 3rd Consecutive Week

Saturday, December 12, 2009

Yesterday I blogged that Sarah Palin's Going Rogue was #1 on the USA Today Bestseller List for the 3rd consecutive week.

I congratulate the Governor for continuing her winning ways, for Going Rogue is also #1 on the New York Times Hardcover Nonfiction Best Seller List for the 3rd straight week. See the full list here.

Please stop calling her "governor" Adrienne, it is very technically incorrect and to be honest doesn't make your blog look very good if you can't even get your facts right.

FYI: When one holds office, they continue to be called by that title until another title replaces it. Therefore, I will continue to call her "Governor"--whether it ruffles your feathers or not. Clearly it does. Think about why that is.

Second, it doesn't matter whether you think calling Governor Palin "Governor" makes my "blog look very good" or not. Truthfully, your comment about something so petty really doesn't make you look good. My advice to you: get over it.

You are technically correct in calling her Governor. It is actually improper not to call her governor.

Thanks for doing things the right way.

K. Carpenter,

Thanks for recognizing proper protocol.

A couple of days ago, Andree McCleod filed two more ethics violations one of which complains that the Alaska Fund Trust website unethically refers to Mrs. Palin as Governor.

Ms. McCleod will find out the hard way what the proper protocol is. I pray Andree gets over her deep-rooted bitterness and revenge against the Governor before she gets ulcers.

Just wanted to concur with all of you about proper protocol. Ex-presidents, for example, are always referred to as "President" after they have left office.
