Happy 2010, A Year of Bursting Forth

Happy New Year, everyone!

What a year 2009 has been for me! As I reflect, it has been one of the greatest years I can remember. God has enlarged my vision, opened doors only He could have opened, and frankly, rocked my entire world. At times when I attempt to find words to tell Him how thankful I am, I find all I can say is, "Oh, God, I'm so overwhelmed."

So how will I be bringing in 2010? My church, Rock Solid Church, decided not to have a special New Year's Eve service this year, so I am spending this evening with friends. We'll eat, play games, chill out, and then get to the important stuff: share testimonies of how good God has been this year, dive into God's Word, and pray-in the new year. There's no better way to start a year than the way you want to live every single day of that year--and for us it's giving glory to the God Who has given us life and seeking His wisdom.

One thing I can share already is that I believe 2010 will be a year of bursting forth. My confession is that all kinds of good/God things will burst forth. Fruitfulness is in store. I grab ahold of that word, and I can't wait to partake!

May each of you receive all that God has for your lives.

Happy New Year, and remember, the best is yet to come.

Great thoughts and perspective on living life to the fullest... giving glory to God.
It's been such a pleasure getting to know you through C4P and Motivation Truth, thanks for all your have done and being who you are... busting forth is so appropriate as we wait to follow Gods path for us. like you have said... it's truly amazing how Sarah has brought us together... I have read, "you know why God has made us all different?...so we will need each other! That's powerful and so very very true.

Happy New Year! and we will see what busts forth.

I was watching Joel Osteen last night and this verse he quoted really lit up my spirit: "When darkness overtakes the godly, light will come bursting in." Psalm 112:4 (not sure which translation that is).

This is going to be an awesome year! God Bless you all! Thanks Adrienne.
