Remember when Obama was asked during the campaign, "Do you promise not to use presidential signage to get your way?" The answer he rendered was, "Yes," as he took a drink of what looked like water but must have been his own Kool-Aid.
His answer, now proven to be a lie, was followed by an account of how deeply he believes in the Constitution, how long he taught the Constitution, and how loyally he'd obey the Constitution. Now that he has the opportunity to actually abide by the Constitution, he obviously has forgotten all that--or was he lying all along? Joe Wilson?
Such actions as exercising "presidential signage," according to Obama, were the shortcomings of...brace yourself for this now...George Bush, and he would never dream of trying to make himself that powerful. No, this current president is not at all drawn toward power. Sure.
Governor Palin, however, reminds us in her Facebook note today that the battle is not over, and we can get back to the Constitution.
She wrote (emphasis added):
If we work together, we can renew our optimistic pioneering spirit, revive our economy, and restore constitutional limits.
Thank God for somebody speaking up with some common sense and respect for what America really stands for, unlike the current shepherd and his DC sheep.
