Joe Miller Defeats Lisa Murkowski; Governor Palin Gets Her Miracle on Ice

Tuesday, August 31, 2010

Senator Lisa Murkowkski has conceded. What an incredible victory for Joe Miller, who was snatched out of anonymity by Governor Palin's endorsement. Governor Palin defeated Lisa's father to become the first woman governor of Alaska, and now she helped Joe Miller to defeat his daughter. As Karl Rove said, "It's an end of an era."

But it's the beginning of another one. As I've been predicting all along, it's Miller Time! We've received the "miracle on ice" Governor Palin has been praying for. Now, on to November!

Eight-twenty-eight, Joe Miller. I'd say Sarah had a pretty good week.

Some people take chances based on principle; and sometimes even long shot races and endorsements pay off. Congratulations to Joe Miller and all the team.

Yes, Carl Rove said that but if looked closely at him when he was saying it you would have noticed a tear in his eye.

I am betting that Joe Miller will get beat by Democrat Scott McAdams in the November general election. This defeat will send a very papable message to Sarah Palin and the Tea Party Movement.

Time will tell. But what do you think that "palpable message" will be? From my perspective, I see elections as healthy, wholesome, and American--as long as they are conducted honestly. So it's on to November, and we shall see what Alaskans decide.

Thanks for weighing in. Weigh in again in November.
