NBC Apologizes for Omitting 'Under God' by Omitting 'Under God'

I became aware of NBC's shameful act of cutting "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance--twice--when Governor Palin retweeted a tweet originally shared by Noel Sheppard:

Clean video of NBC cutting 'Under God' from Pledge of Allegiance during U.S. Open golf coverage: http://ow.ly/5lmBh

Here's the video, courtesy of NewsBusters:

Sheppard keeps it quite simple when expressing his reaction to NBC:
How disgraceful.

Mark Finkelstein later followed up on Noel Sheppard's NewsBusters article when NBC issued an apology, one that still did not mention "under God":
Clearly many Americans were offended and let NBC know about it. Because later in the broadcast, one of the announcers issued an apology. But the network simply compounded one omission with another. The apology spoke of "a portion of the Pledge" being edited out--but never mentioned that the omitted words were "under God."

NBC ANNOUNCER: We began our coverage of this final round just about three hours ago. When we did, it was our intent to begin our coverage of this US Open championship wiht [sic] a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship, held in our nation's capital for the third time. Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out. It was not done to upset anyone, and we'd like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it.

So NBC still can't find it in them to say "under God" when apologizing for not saying "under God." Why bother apologizing then? To quote Noel Sheppard: "how disgraceful"--doubly so now.

Thanks to Governor Palin for giving further heads-up about the lamestream media and their lame agenda.

Satanists can never get the "God" to come out of their mouths.
