Happy Thanksgiving: What I'm Learning that I Thought I Knew

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have so much for which to be thankful. God has richly blessed my family, and these riches have nothing to do with money. Some things money simply cannot buy. What's amazing to me is how in the midst of difficult times and challenges we can feel the most blessed. God is showing me His incredible love and power--over and over again. So I stand on His precious promises, and I relish in the gifts with which He showers us every day, every.single.day. I am learning that while we don't have to like our circumstances or be happy for them, we can have joy in the midst of them--through Christ. Isn't it something how we've thought for the longest time that we knew these things, then realize that we didn't know as much as we thought we did? May we never stop learning.

The Lord has given me such a testimony of His healing and miracle working power. I am literally seeing this before my eyes. Oh yes, I have so much to thank God for!

God bless you all abundantly.

Philippians 4:6-7 - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 53:4-5 - Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
