Today, Herman Cain suspended his 2012 presidential campaign amid accusations of sexual misconduct. While he maintains his innocence, he has opted to remove himself from the fray. He states that he will not be silenced and will continue his fight for the principles he values. He also said he would be making an endorsement. Speculation has already begun as to which candidate would benefit most from his withdrawal, with many believing Newt Gingrich would gain most of his supporters.
I wasn't there, and I don't know what happened, but I must admit, either way, it's a sad day. If the assault of the unjust media or dishonest accusers have prevailed against an innocent man, what a shame. If he's guilty, it's a double shame. As it stands, no one wins.
