How I'm Celebrating Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day

Wednesday, August 1, 2012

Today, on Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, I join so many other freedom-loving Americans who celebrate a company with a history of good food, excellent service, and compassionate philanthropy.

Join me in being a blessing to this business that refuses to bow to the thuggery of bullies who feel justified in threatening religious freedoms and stifling job creation at a time of economic woe. I stand with those, like Chick-fil-A, who stand for traditional marriage and the First Amendment.

Many of you are packing Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the nation today. In fact, my friend Kristi King shared that traffic is so backed up near the restaurant in Cape Girardeau, Missouri that police are directing traffic and the media are on hand. Also, people are waving signs in their support of the business. Awesome! Since New York doesn't have a Chick-fil-A, I'm showing my support another way. I just went to their website and ordered some merchandise--a T-shirt for me and a hat for a friend.

If you want to place an order, go here. Here are my purchases:

God bless.

My ticket for lunch at Chick-fil-A Miami Lakes, FL was 37,730 and counting!!! I thought service was very fast considering, they had extra help, lots of water, and I was surprised at the cross section of folks in this CHick-fil-A, seems that people from all races, creeds, national origins, myabe even religions (hard to tell that) are more concerned with freedom of speech than any other consideration. God bless them, God bless Chick-fil-A! Can't wait 'til dinner.
