Today begins the Smart Girl Summit in Indianapolis. I am here to take part in this year's Summit "where politics and culture collide." I am participating in a panel called "Minority Outreach: Politics or Pandering." It is a much-needed conversation, and I look forward to having this discussion with the other panelists and hearing comments from the audience, as well. This particular panel is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. Eastern. For the full agenda, go here. To see the other speakers/panelists, go here.
According to this, the speeches will be livestreamed, although I have no further information:
Will there be media present?
In the past, we have had a strong blogger presence in addition to having prominent print and broadcast media present. Please
note that many of our attendees are new media savvy and will be utilizing personal blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms to report from the conference. We will also livestream the speeches.
