It's hard to believe that it's been twelve years since September 11, 2001. Again this year I had in-depth discussions with my classes. I knew it would be emotional, as it always is. In fact, I even considered not doing a full lesson on it--just to avoid the emotion of it all this year. However, I simply could not refrain. Why? Because the lives lost deserve to be honored. Those who saved lives or died trying deserve to be honored. America deserves to be honored.
We also remember the victims of the Benghazi terrorist attack a year ago. They are: Ambassador Chris Stevens, Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods, and Sean Smith. We demand answers--and justice.
We persevere, but we never forget.
