That's a very nice photo essay. The picnic sounded like a blast. Sorry I couldn't have been there, since I'm thousands of miles away in Pennsylvania. I assume someone gave Sarah a copy of Levin's book at the picnic. I don't know if she has read it or will read it, but just seeing her holding it in the photo was a big morale boost for me.

I also heard Mark mention your blog at the beginning of his radio show tonight.

I follow a lot of blogs. I'm following your blog closely right now because I find this quasi-religious movement behind Sarah Palin to be fascinating.

By the way, I strongly suspect that Palin will run for president. Maybe not in 2012 but perhaps after that.

I've already been down the road you're daring me to go down... many times. Yes, I'm an atheist now but I was brought up Christian... religious school and everything. Faith is just not in my DNA I guess. It would take a lot to convince me that a god exists.

Here we go again. Yes, there's plenty of evidence to support that The God--the only God--has anointed Sarah. But perhaps you have to get into God's flow to understand it, as I'm sure I've shared with you before. However, maybe your repeated visits to this site are evidence enough that the One within Sarah is feeding your soul, as well--and that's why you can't get enough. Just a thought. Think about it.

You have commented before that you are an atheist. I have a challenge for you: Are you open enough to dare to ask Jesus in sincerity to reveal Himself to you--and really mean it? ("Lord, if you're real, show me.) I dare you to come before God with a true desire for truth. I dare you. After all, isn't truth what we really want, and isn't it true that if there's a reality that we have not embraced, we want to know it so we CAN embrace it?

But I must warn you. That same Spirit and anointing that I wrote about is powerful. Prepare to have your world rocked. Oh, He's an awesome God!

I haven't met Sarah, but my long-distance perception is similar to yours as you stated above...

"I'm telling you, she walks in a presence that you really have to experience to understand.

"And you know what:

"I have never had to explain it to someone who has met her because they know exactly what I'm talking about, even if they don't know what it is.

"It's called an anointing.

"It's called being filled with the Spirit.

"People can term it whatever they want, but the "it" that they sense within Sarah is the Spirit of God, plain and simple.

Of course, to her husband and children, the "it" is probaly simply "being there" because she's wife and mom 1st and politician 2nd.

On the header of my blog I have something similar to "within Sarah" as you put it...

My son forwarded this to me. I am so appreciative of your work here Adrienne. I am a Palin supporter, I will continue to support her in whatever she does starting Monday. Her family is special and she certainly is touched by the Hand of God. I "met" her at a rally in Dover, NH in September of '08 and felt what you describe as indescribable. I hope to be able to host a Meet and Greet for her in my town in NH when she comes through. Thank you for speaking of Sarah's anointing, of her Spirit of God within her. I was moved and touched by it knowing that you, as a woman of God, would have a true sense of His presence. I am such a supporter of Sarah and I am so happy to know that you sense His presence within her. I pray for Sarah daily. That she will seek Him everyday and be obedient to His will and call in her life. I also pray for safety and for Godly counsel for her and that she would have wisdom that can only come from the Lord.

I have never met Sarah, but I hope to someday.

Adrienne, I had seen your blog earlier, before I found you on Twitter. It's really come a long way. I am glad you came to Alaska, and that you have been enjoying it !

My family and I were there at the Wasilla picnic yesterday, in fact, if you took that video posted here, I was just to your right ! I couldn't film it all, I had to go through the line and receive a Blue Star banner for my son's service. I got tongue-tied and all I could say to Sarah was "God Bless & Good Luck".
